すき耕す

Definición

すきは畑の土を耕すための道具や機械です。「耕す」は土を掘り起こしたり、物事を進めたりする意味もあります。

アメリカ英語では 'plow'、イギリス英語では 'plough' と表記されます。耕すは農業用の意味のほかに、物事を苦労して進める意味にも使われます例：'plow through a book' は「本をやっと読み終える」など。

The farmer uses a plow to prepare the field.

農家は畑を準備するために**すき**を使います。
