用別針或類似物固定住，使它不能移動。也可以指把某物標記為重要或置頂（如網路上的置頂貼文）。

可指實體別針固定，也常用於網路術語，表示將內容置頂。可用於正式和非正式場合。不要和“寄希望於（pin hopes）”搞混。
