写真や絵に写っている人や物を指します。また、心の中で想像したものを表すこともあります。

主にニュースや正式な文章で『上の写真に写っている〜』のように用いられます。普通の写真を撮った時には使いません。心の中で想像する場合にも使います。

The girl pictured is my sister.

写真に**写っている**女の子は私の妹です。
