Definition

ピアノは、大きな楽器で、白と黒の鍵盤を押して音を出します。さまざまな種類の音楽に使われ、一人でも他の楽器と一緒にも演奏されます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は数えられる名詞（a piano, the piano）として使います。よく使われる表現に「play the piano（ピアノを弾く）」「piano lessons（ピアノのレッスン）」などがあります。演奏する時は「play the piano」を使い、「make piano」とは言いません。
