在變化或發展的過程中，不同的時期或步驟；「階段」指的是某事經歷的不同部分。

常見於「早期/晚期階段」、「經歷不同階段」和科學或技術語境。不應與「face」（臉）混淆。既可指具體事物，也可比喻人生或變化的過程。
