懺悔是對做錯事的懊悔或補救行為，常用來彌補錯誤或罪過。在宗教中，亦指一種表達懺悔的特定行為或祈禱。

多用於宗教或正式場合，如天主教懺悔。日常亦可指自我懲罰以彌補過錯。與“懲罰”不同，penance 通常出於自願。常見搭配：'do penance', 'as penance'。
