自分と同じ年齢や立場、能力を持つ人たちのこと。特に学校や職場、グループ内で使う。

『Peers』は主に学校や職場などフォーマルな場面で使われる。『peer pressure』『peer review』『among peers』などの表現がある。『友達』とは限らず、同じ立場の人という意味。
