快速地或偷偷地看某物，通常是透過小縫隙或從隱蔽的位置。

在偷窺別人時有負面含義（"peeping Tom"——偷窺者）。但也可以是無害的——小孩透過窗戶看，或者太陽從雲層中露出。也指小雞的叫聲。
