잠깐 또는 몰래 무언가를 보는 것. 대개 허락 없이 호기심으로 볼 때 사용한다.

비공식적으로 주로 사용되며, 'take a peek', 'sneak a peek'처럼 빠르고 몰래 보는 뉘앙스가 있다. 관용적으로 'through', 'at', 'inside' 등과 같이 쓰임. 'peak'(산꼭대기)와 혼동 주의.
