農民は特に伝統的な社会で小さな土地を耕す貧しい農夫を指します。また、時には教養のない人を侮辱的に指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「農民」は主に歴史や文学で使われ、日常会話ではあまり使われません。侮辱的に使うと失礼にあたります。中世ヨーロッパや伝統的な農村の話題でよく見られます。
