Definition

桃は丸くてジューシーな果物で、表面にはうぶ毛があり、中には大きな種があります。甘みがあり、そのまま食べたりデザートにも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「桃（もも）」は複数でも単数でも同じ言い方をしますが、通常文脈で複数を表します。「生の桃」「熟した桃」などの表現がよく使われます。「あんず（アプリコット）」とは異なります。
