الخوخ هو فاكهة دائرية وعصيرية ذات قشرة مخملية ونواة كبيرة في الداخل. طعمه حلو وغالبًا ما يؤكل طازجًا أو يُستخدم في الحلويات.

"Peaches" هو جمع "peach" (خوخ) ويستخدم للإشارة إلى أكثر من ثمرة خوخ. من الشائع قول "fresh peaches" (خوخ طازج)، "canned peaches" (خوخ معلب)، "ripe peaches" (خوخ ناضج). لا تخلط بينه وبين "apricots" (مشمش).
