Definition

給与台帳は従業員の名前と支給される金額を記載したリストで、会社の給料管理に使われます。また、会社が従業員に支払う給料の総額を指す場合もあります。

主にビジネスや人事（HR）の場面で使われます。「payroll taxes」は給与税、「on the payroll」は従業員であることを意味します。「salary」（個人の給料）や「invoice」（請求書）とは混同しないようにしましょう。
