Definition

把有價值的物品抵押給當鋪以獲得貸款，之後還錢可以取回物品。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

'Pawned'是'pawn'（典當）的過去式。一般指經濟困難時將物品抵押給當鋪換現金，還錢後可贖回。與“賣掉”不同，典當有贖回權益。
