在繼續之前，暫時停止某個動作或聲音；也指說話、音樂或動作中的短暫停頓。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
“pause” 可以當名詞（短暫的停頓）也可以當動詞（暫停）。常用於對話、音樂和電子裝置（如“暫停影片”）。比“stop”還要輕柔，並不表示完全結束。
