'Pátio' é uma área plana ao ar livre, normalmente atrás da casa, usada para relaxar, comer ou receber amigos.

No Brasil, 'pátio' pode ser um espaço externo pavimentado ou aberto de uma casa, escola ou empresa. Em inglês, geralmente é só para lazer em casa, diferente de 'varanda' (coberta). Muito usado em 'patio furniture', 'patio doors'.
