Definition

パレードとは、祝いや行事のために人や車、バンドなどが道を進む公開イベントです。また、軍隊の正式な行進のことも指します。

'パレード'は主に祭りやイベントの時に使われます。「watch a parade」「parade route」などの表現がよく使われ、軍事の場合は「行進」が使われます。動詞の「見せびらかす」と混同しないよう注意。
