गरमी, थकान या उत्साह के कारण तेज़ और भारी साँस लेना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मुख्य रूप से व्यायाम, गर्मी या घबराहट के बाद लोगों या जानवरों के लिए। 'Pant' को ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में 'पैंट' (कपड़ा) से न मिलाएँ; यहाँ केवल साँस लेने की क्रिया है।

Examples

After running up the hill, I started to pant.

पहाड़ी पर दौड़ने के बाद मैं **हांफने** लगा।

The dog was panting in the heat.

कुत्ता गर्मी में **हांफ रहा था**।

She could hear him panting after the race.
