てのひらヤシの木
Definition
てのひらは、指と手首の間にある手の内側の部分です。また、高い幹と大きな葉をもつ熱帯の木（ヤシの木）を指すこともあります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ふつうは手のひらを指しますが、ビーチや南国関連の話題ではヤシの木を意味します。「in the palm of your hand」は「完全に支配している」という意味になります。動詞の意味とは混同しないでください。
