指成對（兩個一組）配對的事物，比如「兩隻襪子」或「一雙鞋」。也可指兩個人一起配對或合作。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常指兩個一組的實物（如「幾雙鞋」）。在數學裡也表示配對的兩項。不要與 "peers"（同輩）混淆。"pair" 是單數，表示一組，"pairs" 是多組。
