Definition

ペンキや塗料で塗られたり、飾られたりした状態を表します。壁、ドア、家具、またはペンキで描かれた絵などに使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'painted wall' や 'painted furniture' のように形容詞で使われることが多いです。動詞の過去形としても使われますが、'drawn'（鉛筆やペン）と区別しましょう。
