Definition
何かを正式に自分の所有物として持っていること。ビジネスや家、ペットなどを自分のものとして持っている場合に使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
三人称単数（例：'she owns', 'the company owns'）で使います。一時的に持っている場合や借りている場合には使いません。'own a car'や'own a business'のような表現がよくあります。
