ऐसी चीज़ जिसे अभी तक चुकाया या लौटाया नहीं गया है, ख़ासकर पैसा या कर्ज़। अक्सर 'amount owing' या 'money owing' जैसे वाक्यांशों में उपयोग होता है।

अधिकतर औपचारिक या व्यापारिक अंग्रेज़ी में इस्तेमाल होता है; अक्सर राशि के बाद आता है, जैसे 'amount owing'। यह क्रिया के रूप में उपयोग नहीं होता। आम प्रयोग: 'money owing', 'still owing' आदि। संज्ञा के बाद आ सकता है।
