表示需要付錢給某人，或有責任把某樣東西給某人。也可以表示某事是由於某個人或某種原因造成的。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

最常見的是和金錢連用，如 'owe money'、'owe me $10'。也常見於 'owe someone an apology/explanation'。在較正式的英語裡，'owe ... to' 可以表示原因，如 'The success owes much to teamwork'。不要和 'own' 混淆。
