শহর বা গ্রামের সেই এলাকা যা কেন্দ্র থেকে একটু দূরে এবং সাধারণত কম উন্নত।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'outskirts' সর্বদা বহুবচন হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং সাধারণত নির্দিষ্ট জায়গা নয়, বরং বড় একটি এলাকা বোঝায়। উদাহরণ: 'the outskirts of town', 'live on the outskirts'। সাধারণত শহরের কেন্দ্রের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
