이미 언급된 것과 다르거나 추가되는 사람이나 사물을 가리킴.

'다른'은 명사 앞이나 '다른 사람'처럼 쓸 수 있으며, 'another'(또 다른)와 구별해서 사용한다. 'others'(다른 사람들)는 복수형임에 주의.

I have two shirts; one is red, and the other is blue.

나는 셔츠가 두 장 있는데, 한 장은 빨간색이고 **다른** 하나는 파란색이야.
