Definition

用來指代已經提到或已知之外的不同或額外的事物或人。

常用作限定詞或代詞。通常用來對比不同的羣體或選擇：‘另一個’，‘另一次’。不能與表示同類增加的‘another’互換。非正式語境中，常與名詞搭配表示“更多”：‘其他人’。注意與複數代詞‘others’的區別。

I have two shirts; one is red, and the other is blue.
