अंग्रेजी में 'orchard' सिर्फ फलदार पेड़ों की व्यवस्थित जगह के लिए है, सब्जियों के बग़ीचे ('vegetable garden') के लिए नहीं। 'Apple orchard', 'mango orchard' जैसे संयोजन आम हैं।
