Definition

物事に対する人それぞれの考えや信念で、必ずしも事実とは限りません。同じ話題でも人によって意見が異なります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「意見」は「持つ」「述べる」「共有する」といった動詞とよく使います。「in my opinion」「different opinions」「respect others’ opinions」などのフレーズで使われます。「事実」とは異なるので注意しましょう。

People have different opinions about music.

人によって音楽に対する**意見**はさまざまです。

I asked my friends for their opinions.

友達に**意見**を聞きました。

She likes to share her opinions in class.
