Definition

'Ones' 'one' का बहुवचन है, जिसका प्रयोग पहले से उल्लिखित या समझे गए लोगों या वस्तुओं के लिए पुनः संज्ञा कहने से बचने के लिए होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Ones' औपचारिक/तटस्थ है और अक्सर लिखित या सावधानीपूर्वक बोली में इस्तेमाल होता है। आमतौर पर विशेषण के बाद आता है ('the red ones')। लोगों के लिए कम इस्तेमाल होता है ('the happy ones' कम चलता है; 'the happy people' बेहतर है)। अक्सर 'those' या 'some' से उलझन हो सकती है, लेकिन 'ones' हमेशा गणनीय संज्ञा को बदलता है।
