自分の考えや態度を変えようとしない人を指します。たいてい否定的な意味で使われます。

主に硬い表現や否定的な場面で使われます。'stubborn' よりも否定的・強いニュアンスがあり、「無理にでも変わらない」ことを表します。例：'obstinate child'、'obstinate refusal' など。肯定的な意味ではほとんど使いません。
