用來夾開堅果硬殼的工具。也可指聖誕節用的木製裝飾品或著名芭蕾舞劇《胡桃鉗》。

“Nutcracker” 主要是堅果鉗，但也和著名芭蕾《胡桃鉗》或聖誕裝飾木偶相關。做為工具，只能叫“nutcracker”。講芭蕾時需大寫為“The Nutcracker”。
