「Notions」は、考えや意見、時には漠然とした信念を表します。また、ボタンや糸などの裁縫用小物を指すこともあります。

「strange notions」や「romantic notions」のように、特別な考えを表すときによく使います。裁縫で使う場合は小物の総称です。「notion」は単数形で、一つの考えを示しますので注意。
