呼吸や匂いを感じるための顔の部分。何かを探し出す能力を指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

基本的には顔の部位を指しますが、比喩的に「何かを見つけ出すセンス」を表すときもあります。'runny nose', 'stick your nose into', 'nosebleed' などのフレーズでよく使われます。
