〜も...ない〜もまた...ない

Definition

「〜も...ない」は「neither...nor...」の形で使い、どちらも当てはまらないことを表します。否定文の後でさらに否定を加えるときにも使います。

「neither...nor...」は「AもBも...ない」を意味します。否定文の直後に「nor」を使うのはやや硬い表現です。「or」とは使い方が異なります。

I like neither cats nor dogs.

私は**猫も**、**犬も**好きではありません。

She has neither a car nor a bike.
