जो अभी कहा या किया गया है उसके बावजूद; फिर भी। पिछले कथन के बावजूद सत्य बने रहने वाले एक विपरीत बिंदु को प्रस्तुत करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Still" या "but" से अधिक औपचारिक। "Nevertheless" और "even so" के साथ विनिमेय। वाक्य के आरंभ, मध्य या अंत में आ सकता है। एक शब्द के रूप में लिखा जाता है — "none the less" नहीं (पुरातन)।
