Definition
Bir kişi veya şey dürüstlük, cesaret ve cömertlik gibi yüksek ahlaki özellikler gösteriyorsa 'soylu' denir. Ayrıca geleneksel toplumda yüksek sosyal sınıfa sahip kişiyi de ifade edebilir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
'noble' genellikle olumlu ve resmi bir anlam taşır: 'a noble act', 'a noble cause'. Toplumsal sınıf anlamı daha çok edebiyatta ve tarihte görülür.
