ノーベルは、多くの場合、平和、文学、科学などの分野で功績のあった人に贈られる国際的な賞であるノーベル賞を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ノーベル」はほぼ「ノーベル賞」として使われ、大文字で書きます。「Nobel laureate」は受賞者、「Nobel Peace Prize」はノーベル平和賞です。「noble（気高い/貴族）」とは異なるので注意しましょう。
