젖꼭지

Definition

가슴 중앙에 위치해 있으며, 우유가 나올 수 있는 돌출된 부분. 아기 젖병의 끝부분, 즉 젖병에서 아기가 빠는 부드러운 부분도 뜻함.

'젖꼭지'는 사람, 동물, 젖병 모두에 쓸 수 있으나, 젖병에서는 '젖꼭지' 또는 '젖병 젖꼭지'로 구분하기도 함. 아주 공식적인 자리에서는 자제함.
