前に述べたことに反して、何かが依然として成立する時に使います。対照や逆説を表す言葉です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

‘それでも’や‘それにもかかわらず’は、日常会話よりも書き言葉や丁寧な場面でよく使われます。“Still”や“anyway”より改まった印象があります。話し言葉では使いすぎに注意しましょう。
