争いや議論でどちらの側にもつかないこと。また、色や音などが目立たず控えめな様子を表す言葉。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「neutral stance」「neutral color」のように使います。人・物・雰囲気全てに使えます。「uninterested」（興味がない）とは異なり、関心はあるが中立の立場を取る時に用います。
