다른 장소나 지역, 사물과 바로 옆에 있거나 아주 가까이에 있는 것을 의미합니다. 주로 국가, 도시, 지역 등에 사용됩니다.

주로 명사 앞에서 'neighboring countries', 'neighboring towns'처럼 씁니다. 사람에게는 사용하지 않으며, 지역이나 대상의 물리적 근접을 나타냅니다.
