Definition

이웃은 내 집 근처나 같은 동네, 건물에 사는 사람을 말합니다. 때로는 가까운 나라나 지역에도 쓰입니다.

사람에게 쓸 때 '이웃집 사람', '옆집 이웃' 등으로 말할 수 있습니다. 나라나 지역엔 '이웃 나라'로 씁니다.

My neighbor has a black cat.

내 **이웃**은 검은 고양이를 키워요.

Our neighbor helped us move the table.

우리 **이웃**이 테이블 옮기는 걸 도와줬어요.

She talks to her neighbor every morning.
