隣人近所の人
Definition
隣人は、自分の家の近くや同じ建物、周辺に住んでいる人のことです。場合によっては、近隣の国や地域も指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
通常は近くに住む人を指し、丁寧に言う場合は「ご近所さん」を使います。'next-door neighbor' は「隣人」、'neighboring country' は「隣国」となります。
