'nearing' সাধারণত সময়, স্থান বা ইভেন্টের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'nearing midnight', 'nearing the station'। এটি কথা বলায় একটু আনুষ্ঠানিক শোনায়।
