語り手

Definition

語り手とは、小説や映画、劇などで物語を語る人物や声です。物語の登場人物の場合もあれば、外部から説明する声の場合もあります。

文学、映画、オーディオブックでよく使われます。「author」（著者）とは異なり、「narrator」は物語の語り部です。映画やドキュメンタリーではナレーション（声）として登場することもあります。

The narrator tells the story at the start of the movie.

映画の冒頭で**語り手**が物語を語ります。

In this book, the narrator is a young girl.
