用很小、几乎听不清的声音说话，通常是因烦恼、抱怨或自言自语。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

多为非正式用语，指不让人清楚听见、常带有不满情绪的低声话语。常和 'hear', 'caught', 'stop' 等动词连用，表达抱怨或烦躁。不等同于 'whisper'（更柔和，带有秘密），也不同于 'mumble'（嘟囔，不清楚）。
