指非純種的狗，通常是多種狗種混種。有時也可以非正式地形容人是傻子，但主要是指狗。

'Mutt' 是口語用詞，可表現親暱或輕蔑，視語境而定。和 'stray'（流浪狗）不同，'mutt' 強調狗不是純種。有時指人時語氣較開玩笑，但也可能冒犯。
