Definition

博物館是保存並向公眾展示具有歷史、藝術、科學或文化價值物品的地方。人們參觀博物館是為了學習、研究或欣賞展覽。

通常指一個機構或建築，而不只是一個房間。常見搭配有 'art museum'、'history museum'、'museum exhibit' 和 'museum guide'。不要和 'gallery' 混淆：gallery 通常較小，而且更偏重藝術。
