Definition

木乃伊是經過特殊方法保存的屍體，避免腐爛。它們在古埃及最有名，但許多文化中都有木乃伊。

通常指古埃及的木乃伊，也可泛指其他文化的保存屍體。不要與英式英語的“媽媽”（mummy）混淆。複數是mummies。常出現在歷史、博物館相關語境。
